Jeremy Siskind is the winner of the 2012 Nottingham International Jazz Piano Competition and the second place winner of the 2011 Montreux Solo Piano Competition. As a pianist, he’s performed both jazz and classical music. As a pedagogue, Siskind has six publications with Hal Leonard and is a frequent contributor to Clavier Companion magazine. He's been the chair of the Piano Department at Western Michigan University since 2014. Siskind was recently named the Artistic Director at the brand-new American Jazz Pianist Competition.

Michelle Mailhot is in demand as a vocalist, educator, adjudicator and clinician. She has taught at the Phil Mattson Workshops, the Disney Sings Workshops, and Zegree Vocal Jazz Camps. She has been an adjudicator for festivals all over the world. As a clinician, Michelle inspires students with her energy and passion for the performing arts

Atlantic Music Center is a proud participant and supporter of the AJPC. The Competition is intended to increase exposure of jazz with a focus on younger people, hoping to motivate students to study jazz piano and pursue full or part-time careers in jazz related entertainment.

Winston Scott is a former astronaut, a black belt in karate, currently on the faculty at Florida Institute of Technology and an accomplished trumpeter. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, Music from Florida State University and a Master of Science, Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Naval Postgraduate School.

A generous member of the community, this evening Mr. Scott will take the stage with some of the finest young Jazz musicians in our area for an evening that will be as fun as it is rewarding.
